Flowers: Off-white flowers with
a small creamy yellow cup. Petals don’t overlap and are slightly
twisted. Very fragrant. Usually around mid January.
Foliage: Emerges in December. Wide and dark green. Often gets freeze
damage above zone 9.
Exposure: Full sun to part shade.
Water: Moist in winter. Dry in summer. Requires no irrigation.
Habit: Herbaceous, perennial bulb to 1 1/2 feet
Uses: Bedding, perennial border, cut flowers, and naturalizing.
Note: Although quite common in Southern landscapes,
this heirloom narcissus is no longer available in the trade.
