BILLY & CORINNA McKENZIE’S PECAN FUDGE PIE RECIPE
(Makes one 9-inch pie)

INGREDIENTS:
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
1 (4-ounce) package sweet cooking chocolate or 2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
¼ cup margarine or butter
1 (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk!)
½ cup hot water
2 eggs, well beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 ¼ cups pecan halves or pieces



MIXING AND COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In medium saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate and butter. Stir in Eagle Brand, hot water and eggs; mix well. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into prepared pastry shell. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until center is set but BEFORE it bursts into flames. Cool. Chill 3 hours. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
