CHEESE CRISPS

1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 cups shredded sharp Chedder cheese
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups finely chopped pecans
1/2 to 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Creame butter and cheese. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Shape into 2 rolls; chill. Slice and place on baking sheets. Bakes at 375o 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container. YIELD: 5 dozen
